How to install or replace led spotlight when it is broken

Spotlights are a great way to highlight certain features in your home or garden, but they can sometimes break or stop working. If you have a broken spotlight that needs replacing, don't worry – it's a relatively simple process that you can do yourself. Here's how to replace a broken spotlight:

First, check out and solution

1, phenomenon: not bright

Reason: The led spotlight does not light up, it may be that the lamp bead or the drive is broken.

Solution: Under normal circumstances, the drive is broken, you can replace it directly, the drive should be chosen well, because the drive is the heart of the luminaire, it plays a vital role.

2, phenomenon: flash

Reason: It may be that one of the lamp beads or the patch lamp bead is broken.

Solution: If one of the lamp beads is broken, remove it and replace it; if it is a patch lamp, you need to change the lamp or scrap the entire lamp.

3, phenomenon: when the light is off

Cause: The drive or one of the lamp beads is broken.

Solution: Replace the drive or lamp bead directly.

4, the phenomenon: black

Cause: The cause of this may be that the heat dissipation is not good enough, causing the lamp beads to burn.

Solution: Replace the lamp beads directly. If the heat dissipation is not good, check if the lamp board and the heat sink have thermal adhesive, and the connection is intact.

Second, led spotlight installation method

The led spotlight needs to first measure the installation height of the lamp (light stand) according to the design requirements, and mark the pole on the pole. Hang the lamp holder and the lamp on the pole, put on the hoop or bolt, and find the illumination angle and levelness, then fasten the lamp holder. Then, the pin insulator is fixed on the lamp holder, and one end of the wire is tied to the insulator and connected to the lamp line and the fuse respectively. The rubber cloth and the black rubber cloth are half-overlapped and each layer is wrapped. Tighten the other end of the wire and entangle it with the back of the street light trunk. After all the installation work is completed, send power, test the lamp, and further adjust the illumination angle of the lamp.

Matters needing attention: 1, the phase line of the lamp should be equipped with a fuse, and the phase line should be connected to the center terminal of the screw cap.

2. The connection point between the line and the street light trunk line should be 400-600mm from the center of the pole, and the two sides are symmetric.

3. There should be no joints in the volley of the lower line, and the length should not exceed 4m. When it is exceeded, it should be installed with fixed points or steel pipe leads.

4. The soft plastic tube should be set at the entrance and exit of the wire, and the waterproof bend should be made.
